Memory Mist- Solvent Extraction

$650.00

What this service is

Solvent Extraction is a scent preservation process designed to gently capture and stabilize the existing aroma present in a garment at the time it is received. This tier prioritizes preservation and recognition over intensity, projection, or wearability.

This is not a conventional perfume and is not intended to be worn directly on skin or everyday clothing.

How the Preservation Works

A small portion of the garment is carefully processed using a controlled solvent-based extraction. This method allows volatile scent compounds to transfer into a neutral alcohol base without the use of heat or aggressive chemical manipulation.

Because fabric itself plays a role in how scent is held and released, this process captures only trace aromatic elements. The result is a preserved scent that is intentionally subtle and reflective of the original material.

During extraction, natural fabric dyes and fibers may also transfer into the solution. For this reason, Memory Mist is designed for indirect scent experience, not cosmetic application.

How to Experience the Preserved Scent

Memory Mist should be sprayed onto a neutral receiver, such as:

• A paper towel or blotting paper
• A cloth or garment specifically intended to receive the spray
• A keepsake textile reserved for scent reference

Immediately after application, the alcohol carrier will be noticeable. This is normal.

To experience the preserved scent:

  1. Spray lightly onto the neutral receiver

  2. Allow complete alcohol evaporation (typically 30–90 seconds)

  3. Smell only after the alcohol has fully dissipated

Once evaporated, a soft, intimate scent may remain. This preserved aroma is subtle by nature and is best experienced at close range.

What to Expect

• Subtle, close-proximity scent
• No projection or “perfume strength”
• Quiet, personal recognition rather than intensity
• Best experienced in still air

This process preserves a moment — not a formula.

Important Notes

• Not recommended for direct skin application
• Not intended as a wearable fragrance
• Not designed for longevity or projection
• Intended for scent reference and personal reflection

Clients seeking a wearable or a powerful fragrance should consider our Molecular Reconstruction (GC-MS Guided) tier.

Who This Tier Is For

Memory Mist is best suited for those who:

• Understand and appreciate subtle sensory experiences
• Want a preserved reference to a loved one’s scent
• Value authenticity over strength
• Are comfortable with a quiet, intimate result

Transparency & Care

Scent preservation is deeply personal. We are deliberate in setting accurate expectations so clients understand exactly what this process delivers — and what it does not.

This tier focuses on preservation, not performance.
